The idea behind it is to encourage other bloggers and share others work so it doesn’t matter how many followers/readers they have or any other stats, it’s just about getting bloggers and vloggers out there a bit more. This weeks blogger is Ruth from Craft With Cartwright. Hi, I’m Ruth, Part time teacher, Part time blogger, Full time tea drinker. Mum of two and creative whirlwind.
What is your favourite blog post or vLog and why?
The blog post I’m most proud of is a fairly new one. I’ve started writing more post on helping other bloggers and this one comes with a checklist I made as well.
What is your favourite part of being a blogger/vlogger?
The flexibility it offers me. I can work from home three days a week now and make as much money as I would have done at school. This means I can do the school runs and be more available for my children.
If you could give a new blogger/vlogger one piece of advice, what would it be?
If you’re serious about blogging, go self hosted as soon as possible.
Where is your favourite location/attraction for a family day out and why?
Our favourites are the forest commission sites. A good walk, a picnic and a park is all my kids need.
You get in a lift with a lady pushing a buggy, the baby is newborn and screaming his/her head off, the mum looks frazzled to say the least. What do you say to her?
It does get easier.
Tell us your favourite WTF (what the f**k?) moment in parenting?
When the kids try some awful stunt that I’m sure will see them in A and E and they come out unscathed. I swear they are made of rubber.
What would you say to 14 year old you?
The same things I say to myself these days. In my mind I’m still about that age. Just with a hubby, mortgage and two kids!
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I can play the flute.
You can have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would you pick and why?
My three brothers, I don’t get to see them as much as I would like.
Big thanks to Ruth for taking part. I did a little “Awwww” when I read the last one, my brother lives in New Zealand so I can totally identify with wanting to see more of them. How cool is her selfie picture? I actually asked if she was a face painter! 🙂
Ruth picked this song as her favourite song:
