Welcome to the next episode of “Introducing…”. The idea behind it is to encourage other bloggers and share others work so it doesn’t matter how many followers/readers they have or any other stats, it’s just about getting bloggers and vloggers out there a bit more.
This weeks blogger is Darren aka Dad to Four Boys and a Little Lady, Please check out his social media and blog site, if you like what you see – click follow!
Hi, I’m am Darren (dadoffourboysandalittlelady), 35 years old and a stay at home dad. I love going on adventures with our kids and spending time outdoors and just watching them grow and excel daily.
What is your favourite blog post or vLog and why? (Include links)
My favourite blog/vlog post isn’t just one, I enjoy reading Mr All About Hurr. His story just captures me everytime and is a complete gent of a man.
What is your favourite part of being a blogger/vlogger?
My favourite part of blogging is just writing down what I want and feel even though I am still new to this and just wish I could do alot more
If you could give a new blogger/vlogger one piece of advice, what would it be?
One piece of advice id give to anyone starting a blog is just be real and be yourself and honest
Where is your favourite location/attraction for a family day out and why?
My favourite place is home as we have a lovely beach on our doorstep and a cracking estate just up the road with its own animals and castle grounds and alot of hidden gems.
You get in a lift with a lady pushing a buggy, the baby is newborn and screaming his/her head off, the mum looks frazzled to say the least. What do you say to her?
I’d just say hi and make a complete numpty of myself and let the mother know she’s doing a great job she isn’t alone and won’t be the last one to get in a lift with a screaming child.
Tell us your favourite WTF (what the f**k?) moment in parenting?
With having five kids I’ve had plenty of WTF moments and far to much to list and am sure I still have plenty more to come as well.
What would you say to 14 year old you?
“Well done son, you’ve done a great job. Change something’s but not everything.”
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I am asthmatic and have been since I was 2 years old but have always fought against it and never let it beat me on a daily basis.
You can have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would you pick and why?
It would have to be Lee Evans for the banter, Jim Parsons to have a big bang chat and the legend of my football team Henrik Larsson
Big thanks to Darren for taking part. I think he (and his wife!) need a medal for raising five lovely kids! I bet their house is never quiet! I also love that he’s promoted another blogger in the second question rather than one of his own posts.
Darren picked this song as his favourite song (tune!):
