Summer is here! The Euros are on (Come on England!) and we are less than three weeks away from the big summer holidays – whoop! Jack’s Supermarket is here with a new BBQ range, perfect for watching the football or catching up with friends and family – my goodness, don’t we need it!
You may remember that I visited Jacks Supermarket in Wakefield in December last year to check out their festive favourites. This week I was invited back for a BBQ style supermarket sweep! Since my first experience almost eight months ago, I have become a regular shopper there. As a frequent customer of Tescos, it’s the same great quality at outstanding prices and, as the Wakefield branch is situated on a retail park, it’s ideal for popping down for a quick shop when the kids are at school.
FIRE UP THE FLAVOUR
Jack’s new ‘Fire Pit’ range is FULL of delicious flavours and these are just a few:
- Sweet and Smoky BBQ Hot Dog Sausages
- Garlic and Herb Chicken Kebabs
- Hot and Spicy Pork Loin Steaks
- Salt and Chilli Pork Belly Slices
My mouth was watering just looking at the selection on offer! As a meat lover, it was hard to decide what I should take home! Luckily the 2 for £7 deal on selected BBQ packs allowed me to pick a great selection to take home.
I love that Jack’s are passionate about supporting regional farmers, growers and producers. Their chicken, lamb and beef are all 100% British, as is their milk too! We got through a lot of that thanks to Sienna’s obsession with the calcium enriched white stuff.
No matter your taste, there is something for everyone meaning that all your friends and family will have their taste buds tickled at your summer get-togethers.
In addition, they have plenty of sauces and delicious added extras to liven up your BBQ selection. The halloumi was one of the first items in my trolley! I just ADORE it on the BBQ.
Jack’s Supermarket really is the one stop shop for all your BBQ-ing needs this summer. Can you believe I got all this for under £40?!
FUN IN THE SUN
Head to your nearest Jack’s every Thursday to find exciting new products in their When It’s Gone It’s Gone (WIGIG) middle aisle of dreams. Plenty of outdoor fun for the children plus homewares, electricals and garden furniture too. There are unbelievable prices but move fast because they get snapped up quickly!
The summer holidays can get expensive with the kids off school. With Jacks Supermarket it really doesn’t have to be…unless you let the kids loose in the middle aisle! After over a year of isolation and missing loved ones, now is the time to enjoy good food and drink with the people who mean the most. Enjoy the summer and cook up a storm on the BBQ with Jack’s best of British produce!
